We're having a ...

We actually still aren't quite sure what we're having. Our baby's umbilical cord was right in between it's legs! We did everything to try to get the baby and it's umbilical cord to move but the baby just wanted to lay on it's side with it's back towards us. We are pretty sad that we don't know what we're having but because the baby wouldn't move we may be able to get another ultrasound in a couple of weeks to get measurements of it's pelvis and stomach.

It was fun to be able to watch our baby moving it's arms and legs for a whole hour! It kept moving it's arms like it was stretching out and putting it's fingers in it's mouth. It was amazing to see it's little fingers and toes and see how amazing it is how babies can grow so perfectly. We feel so lucky!

How frusterating! That same thing happened with Samantha. I had 3 ultrasounds and still, nothing. I was sure she was a girl though, and luckily I was right! I hope you get to find out. People say it's fun to have a surprise, but I say it's still a surprise at 20 weeks, right?

oh man! all that build up and more waiting! so fun that you at least got to see the baby :o) Having a second ultra-sound is the best because you get to see the baby again.
