Nauvoo
This weekend we're going to Nauvoo. We are so excited! I have the time off and we've been wanting to go ever since we moved to Milwaukee. We'll be there for two days. Casey and I both went to Nauvoo a long time ago and we kind of don't know what we should do besides going to the temple and going to all the old houses and shops etc. If anyone has any ideas let me know because we want to make the most out of our short time there!

Make sure you go to the Visitors Center and reserve tickets for "Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo!" It's great night entertainment from the Senior Missionaries and I could see Casey getting a kick out of it! Also, if you like fudge...who doesn't??...then visit the Fudge Shoppe on Main Street near the back side of the temple...YUM!
Ask the temple workers to see the artifacts in the temple...they have a little hall that they will escort you through near the information desk. There isn't a lot, but what they have is really neat.
WE just went there in March and LOVED it! I am in love with that little town. Let me know how the flooding on the Mississippi is and have fun!!
