I'm a loner

Casey left for Scout Camp yesterday. He's gone for an entire week. It has been really sad to have him gone even though he's only been gone for a day and a half. I think what makes me so sad is that I can't call and talk to him whenever I want. Yesterday after I worked I didn't want to go back to our apartment because I knew it would make me sad. I tried to stay at work as long as I could and then right when I got home and changed I left and went shopping until it got dark. I even got a body pillow so I wouldn't feel so alone at night.

I'll be a loner until Wednesday, then I leave to Provo! I'm really glad I don't have to be by myself the whole week or else I think I'd go crazy. I am so excited to finally see my family in a couple of days. I love everything about home and being with my family. I am so excited to go to my friend's wedding, finally graduate, and get a snow cone too. Hallelujah!

As Promised

While I've been pregnant I've been secretly appreciative that I'm in Milwaukee and most of the people I know are in Utah. That way people won't be able to see me pregnant. However, recently people back home have been asking for pregnant pictures so I decided to finally cave in and post a few. I even took some pictures of Casey making cute imitation poses of me at these different weeks but I am forbidden from putting them up.

13 weeks. I felt large and my pants started getting a little tighter, but little did I know...

16 weeks. After finally feeling well again I started to pack on some pounds (and not wear makeup).

20 weeks. I honestly just popped out one day.

22 weeks. 10 pounds heavier and only 1 pound of that is baby!
Now I like to look back on pre-pregnancy and wish that I would've enjoyed some things a little more, like sleeping on my back, bending over, people at work not touching my tummy, and getting more than 4 hours of sleep at night. On the other hand, nothing is better than knowing I have a little baby girl growing inside of me!

Lost in transition

We have had a lot of problem with Kohls.com. I was wondering if anyone else has had problems. Sometimes it seems like we're the only ones on Earth that have to deal with runarounds. I ordered some maternity clothes off the site and I was supposed to get them a week ago so today I decided to email them and find out what the issue was. I got a reply an hour later saying that my package was "lost in transit." Thanks for the update I guess. A couple months ago we ordered Casey's sister a Dyson and after a long wait she was suprised to see that the wait was for mattress pads. It took a lot longer to clear up the order because they had record that a Dyson was sent to her.

Now I've decided to just buy things at the store even if there isn't a good selection of cheap stuff.

Update

I have been putting off blogging because when I want a break from doing homework I usually don't stay on the computer - I want to get out of the house and go shopping. I'll fill everyone in on what has been going on:

I love my doctor, she is the perfect doctor for me, but a week ago she went on maternity leave, so yesterday I went in for an appointment and I was nervous to see who the new doctor was that I was going to have to see for 2 months. He came in and suddenly I couldn't hear anything he was saying to me because all my attention was focused on his gold chain necklace, halfway unbuttoned shirt, and slicked back hair... Self explanatory. Good thing is that I only have to see him 2 more times in the next 6 weeks and then my doctor will be back.

In 2 weeks I'm leaving to Utah! It has been 7 months since Casey and I went back for Christmas. Last Summer we didn't go back at all so I'm really excited to enjoy this Summer's festivities with my family, and get a Strawberry Surf Rider Jamba Juice. I was able to get 3 weeks off of work because of my excuse that I was going back for my friend's wedding and my graduation, so of course they couldn't say no! Casey, on the other hand, is just going out for my graduation. We are so excited to finally see family!

... and at the end of the week we're getting another ultrasound. We're getting a 3-D ultrasound because my new doctor wouldn't let me get another clinical ultrasound because he said the radiologist could tell that everything was normal in the one I got a month ago. Although it stinks that we have to pay to get another ultrasound, I'm so excited to get some amazing pictures, and finally find out what we're having!

Counting down the days, again

Next week we get another ultrasound! I'm hoping this time we'll be able to tell what we're having. I know our baby has been moving around a lot because I feel and see it's kicks all over all day, and especially when I'm trying to sleep so hopefully the umbilical cord has moved since last time!

We've been waiting until we find out what we're having to start buying baby stuff. However, recently I realized that I've already made up my mind on almost everything from the car seat, the stroller, pacifiers, to crib linens so hopefully I don't have to change my mind once we find out! Casey has realized that I'm way to picky with what baby stuff looks like and what kind of reviews it gets that once I find something I like he's great to agree that he likes it too.

My life is going to be changed

Tomorrow we are getting a DVR. I have been wanting one forever, but we couldn't get ourselves to pay the extra $5 a month more. We decided to switch to AT&T Uverse and not only do we get the same stuff for cheaper but we get a DVR for free too! I'm so excited!
