Santa came to our ward party last Saturday. Carly was so excited to see him. She even sat on his lap and told him that she wanted a puppy for Christmas!

I was looking through the pictures on my phone and found these pictures from one of the BYU games that we went to. We were lucky that Casey’s parents let us go with them to the home games. Carly absolutely loved the games. She cheered, clapped, and sang the BYU fight song.
We had a very fun Thanksgiving. I made the turkey for Casey’s family’s party. We had a few “problems” while trying to transport the turkey from Provo to Centerville – Ray (our old-time friend) ended up with a lap full of raw turkey juice, and then the spigot on the cooler that was holding the turkey froze open (it doesn’t sound possible, but it did happen). Nevertheless, we did get the turkey to Centerville.
Kreg got to carve the turkey this year. Can’t you tell by the look on his face how confident he was?
All the nieces loved playing with Ray.
Carly is obsessed with the BYU Cougars. Whenever she sees a Y anywhere she wants to start singing the BYU fight song.
I love microwave popcorn. I don’t love the butter lovers way greasy types but I do love the lightly salted and buttered ones. In the past I would buy the light butter popcorn because it’s not drenched in fake butter. BUT a few months ago I was picking up some popcorn at the grocery store and I saw that a few brands had new homemade flavors. I was curious what this homemade flavor would taste like so I bought some. I tried it and now am a huge fan. The homemade flavor actually has real, tasty butter in it. It’s definitely not as buttery and fattening as the butter lovers/movie theater kinds but it has more butter than the light kinds, so it’s perfect in my opinion. It’s really good and what’s even better is that I don’t feel like a chunk o’ lard after I eat it!
