3 months!

I love her belly!

Holland is still an angel baby.  She has been an awesome sleeper, rarely cries, and smiles all the time.  She loves her pacifier, and now loves to suck on her fingers and whatever else she can shove into her mouth.  She loves grabbing onto her little blankie, and nuzzling into it and falling asleep… All I have to do to get her to sleep is hand her her blankie and pop her paci in and she’s out – which was the total opposite of Carly so I am very appreciative!  She will never fall asleep while she’s nursing so I’m very glad that she can calm herself down and fall asleep on her own.

Carly has been a great big sister.  It took good a 2 months for her to start liking Holland, but now she gives her lots of loves and will put Holland’s pacifier back in her mouth if it ever falls out.

Jordan

Our Wisconsin friends, the Wehrhahns,  came out to Utah for their daughter’s wedding reception and to drop their son off at the MTC last week.  Their daughter Jordan was in my Primary class in the Lake Michigan ward and always would help me out with Carly at church.  Jordan came over to play with Carly and Holland while they were here. It was so fun to see Jordan again, and Carly was in heaven playing with someone who would do anything that she wanted and give her tons of attention!

Heehaw Farms

My Mom took all the grandkids (minus my sister Kari and kids who are in TX) to Heehaw Farms a few days ago.  At Heehaw you can pet all the farm animals you want, ride on a hay ride, pick pumpkins, shoot corn cannons, slide down a gigantic slide etc.  This was our second year going and it was awesome.  Carly was in heaven being able to touch all the farm animals!  It was a really nice day out and Holland loved it too!

I love my little chunk!

2 months!

Holland is the sweetest, chill baby.  She just hangs out and goes with the flow.  She has been a great sleeper and goes to sleep almost every night at 9:30 and sleeps until 9 the next morning with 2-3 wake ups during those 12 hours.  She doesn’t like to be held when she’s trying to go to sleep. I just feed her and lay her down and she’ll fall asleep on her own.  She almost never falls asleep while she’s nursing. I had to hold Carly ALL the time when she was this age, but Holland would rather just hang out in her swing or bouncer by herself. 

She loves loves her pacifier, car seat, and “talking” to us - especially talking to Carly.  I’m taking her in for her checkup on Friday so I’ll post her stats then!

First time…

…going peep on the pot! 

I haven’t been too fond of the idea of potty training Carly.  Diapers are convenient right?  Really I’ve just been lazy and done ZERO potty training with Carly.  This morning she came up to me and said, “mommy I think I have to go potty.”  So I put her on the pot and she peed!  I guess I need to quit being lazy and just potty train her now.   Isn’t she so cute???
