Last week I got the sewing itch and decided to make some pillow slipcovers for our living room. I found some fabric that I really like, and now I can’t stop making pillows! I’m in the process of making four more. I used the leftover fabric from the slipcovers to make an organizer for our car too.

Carly has turned into a little girl. Last month her first tooth finally made it’s appearance, and she even has a second one coming in on the top.
Here are some things that Carly loves to do:
She loves to make funny faces.
She still loves playing in the cupboard.
She loves showing people how big she is. How big is Carly? So Big!
And she loves sitting in bowls.

While I’m not a huge fan of Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, I AM a huge fan of her song “Party in the USA.” It’s so sing-a-longable (that should be a word), and upbeat. I love, love, love this song. I get way excited when it comes on in the car, and now Carly gets excited too. I downloaded it onto my ipod a couple months ago and almost everyday Carly and I include it in our dance hour. I think this is my favorite song from 2009.
I think I have more fun on Casey’s birthday than he does. I get so excited for him to open his presents! When Casey got home from work on Friday we took Carly over to the Shurilla’s and went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Then we went shopping which I realized we haven’t done together without Carly since she was born. It was so nice!
I made Casey his favorite rainbow chip cake with rainbow chip frosting. He also got IBC Cream Soda, clothes, and Ticket to Ride Europe.

Things I love Fridays was on a break while I was on vacation in Utah, but now it’s back and better than ever! Today is my sweet husband’s 28th birthday so I thought I’d do this week’s post all about Casey.

We had SO much fun in Utah. Carly and I spent three jam-packed weeks with family (Casey stayed for 10 days). After Casey left I stayed with my family in Provo and hit up Mexican food places almost every other day. I found out that Carly loves Cafe Rio as much as I do. She ate almost half of my pork burrito one time. I loved being back in my home town! Here are a few pictures of our time in Provo.
Carly LOVES Uncle Jacob so much. She would follow him around and continually say “Hi Jake!” It’s crazy to think that Jacob will be on his mission next Christmas! It was fun to see my sister Kristen’s twins too. They’re 4 months younger than Carly. I think Carly looks a lot like Taylor.
Carly likes watching Jacob work as much as I do.
I love hanging out and laughing with my sisters. They are the best sisters in the world. My sister Kristen (in black) made us all bottle cap necklaces. She is so artsy and creative!
Carly’s favorite thing at Grandma and Grandpa Hatch’s house was Buff the cat. She went crazy always trying to catch and kiss him.

We took Hatch family pictures over Christmas break. It’s so crazy how much the family has grown! Carly has 3 cousins on the Hatch side that are within 5 months of her. She had so much fun playing with everyone.
